Question 1

What is NABH ELC (Entry Level Certification)?

Accepted Answer

NABH's Entry Level Certification is a shorter, simpler accreditation pathway designed for hospitals and SHCOs preparing for full NABH accreditation, built around core patient safety and quality requirements before the full standard set applies.

Question 2

How is this readiness score calculated?

Accepted Answer

Each question scores Yes = 1, Partially = 0.5, No = 0. Your percentage score maps to one of four bands: Not Ready (under 40%), Early Stage (40–60%), On Track (60–80%), or Likely Ready (over 80%, subject to document verification during the actual assessment).

Question 3

Is this an official NABH checklist?

Accepted Answer

No, this is AccredReady's own self-assessment tool built around ELC requirements, meant to help you gauge readiness before applying. It isn't a substitute for the official NABH assessment or document review.

Question 4
