Frequently Asked Questions

What is the total NABH accreditation cost for a 100-bed hospital?

For HCO Full Accreditation, a hospital with up to 100 beds pays ₹40,000 (application) + ₹2,00,000 (annual fee) = ₹2,40,000 before GST. With 18% GST, the total Year 1 outgo is ₹2,83,200. Annual renewal (without reapplication) is ₹2,36,000 with GST.

How much does NABH accreditation cost for a small clinic?

For SHCO Full Accreditation (up to 50 beds): ₹25,000 application + ₹1,50,000 annual = ₹1,75,000 before GST, or ₹2,06,500 with 18% GST. For even smaller facilities, the HOPE Entry Level Certification starts at ₹21,000 (up to 5 beds) for a 2-year cycle.

Is NABH accreditation fee refundable?

NABH accreditation fees are generally non-refundable. Application fees are not returned if the application is withdrawn or rejected. Always verify the refund policy with NABH directly before applying.

What is the NABH Entry Level Certification fee for a 50-bed hospital?

For the HOPE Entry Level Certification (w.e.f. June 2025), a hospital with 21–50 beds pays ₹48,000 for a 2-year cycle (rebate valid till September 30, 2026), plus 18% GST. For 51–100 beds, the fee is ₹96,000 for the 2-year cycle.

Does NABH fee include the assessor visit cost?

The annual fee covers the standard assessment visit. However, virtual assessment (₹3,000–₹15,000) and focus assessment (₹15,000) are charged separately, as are any additional visits. Travel and accommodation costs for assessors, if applicable, may also be billed separately.

What is the NABH fee for a dental clinic?

For Dental (DHSP) accreditation: 1–3 chairs pay ₹5,000 application + ₹15,000 annual = ₹20,000/year before GST. 4–10 chairs: ₹15,000 + ₹40,000 = ₹55,000. 11–15 chairs: ₹20,000 + ₹60,000 = ₹80,000. Add 18% GST to all figures.

How often do NABH fees change?

NABH revises its fee schedule periodically. The current HCO/SHCO fees are effective from 01 April 2024, and the HOPE ELC fees from June 2025. Always verify current fees at nabh.co before applying, as this page reflects the most recently published schedule.
